What is a Street Performer? 
A person that deliberately puts on a show for others, in a setting of their own choice. 
A street performer usually has a certain skill that they excel in and have practiced for a long time.
Some perform with goals simply to make money, and others could be to entertain or spread ideas/messages
Identify the Taxonomy of Street Performers
There are main categories and subcategories that can, in one way or another, explain the main feature of a performer. One word cannot describe the whole show, however there are usually certain categories that tie performers together. 
How could your team connect to a street performer during the festival?
We could attend the show and be attentive during the performance
Interact with the performer during the performance, depending on what the show is. I.E. participate in a magic trick 
Talk to the performer outside of the performance and listen to what they have to say
